Summer Reading Program 2012
Registration begins June 4th…Registration Form, Book Bag, Pocket Folder, Time Record, Schedule of Events, Welcome Letter, Star with name on it for bulletin board & surrounding wall. Tracking can begin after registration. Programs begin June18th and end with the Finale on Saturday, July 28th.

Monday, June 18th (Storytime at 4:00)
Thursday, June 21st (Let’s have “Slumber Party” at 2:00, wear your PJ’s and enjoy games, popcorn and party fun at the library)
Tuesday, June 26th (Star Lab at 2:30&3:30, registration required)
Thursday, June 28th (Storytime at 2:00)
Monday, July 2nd (Storytime at 4:00)
Thursday, July 5th (Meet at Sharon Bluffs State Park at 2:00)
Monday, July 9th (Storytime at 4:00)
Thursday, July 12th (Meet at Library & walk to Appanoose County Coal Mining Museum at 2:00)
Monday, July 16th (Storytime at 4:00)
Wednesday, July 18th (Dan Waddell of IPTV at 9:30&10:30am at the library)
Monday, July 23rd (Ronald McDonald the Clown at 1:00 at the library)
Thursday, July 26th (Storytime at 2:00)
Saturday, July 28th (Finale Bowling Party at Adam’s Bowl,
1:00 – 3:00 pm. Bowling, Pool, Snacks…even a ramp to help the little ones!)
Monday, August 6th (Blank Park Zoo. Toddler Programs at 11:00 and 11:30am. K-8th Grade Program at Noon. An extra event!)
*Toddler Time will continue to meet at 11:30am on Wednesdays except on July 18th during the Dan Waddell visit. Children under the age of 5 and their caregivers are invited to join in.
Program Incentives
Track Hours: 1 incentive prize for each 1 hour of reading marked on the Time Log.
Prize Drawing: Name in for finale prizes for each Time Log completed. Participants can only have 1 set of incentives prizes but can put name for finale prizes as many times as they can.
